USA Gymnastics has established the Athlete Assistance Fund, in cooperation with the National Gymnastics Foundation, to provide the financial means and guidance for gymnasts that have suffered sexual abuse in the sport of gymnastics to obtain counseling services.

PHP Management Systems, a division of Physicians Health Plan (PHP), has been contracted to administer the program and provide guidance on enrollment processes, requirements and procedures, and connecting athletes with care providers. The purpose of this website is solely to verify participant eligibility (a USA Gymnastics membership) and to collect contact information to respond to those athletes interested in participating in this program. PHP has no affiliation with USA Gymnastics or The National Gymnastics Foundation beyond acting as the independent administrator of the Athlete Assistance Fund.

Confidentiality of athlete participation is our first concern, and information gathered through this site will not be shared with any other parties including USA Gymnastics or The National Gymnastics Foundation. No details or information about personal situations of abuse will be submitted through this site. Program participants can feel confident in knowing their information and participation in this program will be held in the strictest confidence as they seek counseling services and assistance through the Athlete Assistance Fund.
